SuperLife

by Richard W. Samson

Ordinary life is rapidly moving toward superlife: exciting new capabilities for individuals, business, science, society, the environment ... everything.

Positive people

Superlife is an unprecedented paradigm shift, the key trend of our time. If we catch its surge, rather than letting it swamp us, it can carry us to a hyper-human world of greatly expanded powers and possibilities.

Thanks to scientific and social advances, we are fast evolving into a whole new self-modified species. Those of us who get with this meta-trend can look forward to six key developments. These include:

  • Supermind: Shifting to a new level of awareness and conscious control.
  • Superspirit: Tapping "the force" (call it God or quantum energy) with scientific clarity and impact.
  • Superhealth: Living to 100-plus in good shape.
  • Superscience: Making planet-saving breakthroughs by adding new scope and objectivity to research that is accelerating.
  • Superbusiness: Creating universal wealth by turning industry and commerce totally green.
  • Supersociety: Taming violence and creating a golden age by making food, basic necessities, education, culture, and opportunity available to all.
There's a big countertrend, of course. It involves super pollution, super conflict, and more. The two big trends, very positive and very negative, appear locked in mortal combat. Only one can win. Through information and inspiration found here, we can move aggressively in the positive direction. The prospects are becoming more substantial and exciting month by month. If we play our cards right, we could be on a fast tract to an exciting new future.

Where did we come from and where are we going?

Sounds like we have the beginnings of a plan here, friends.

How can we co-create our future?

Let's strive to reach critical mass for making some positive changes.
Gregg Braden in his book The Divine Matrix shares the formula to find the magic number ~

1. Determine the total number of people present
2. Calculate one percent of that total number
(multiply the total from step 1 by .01)
3. Calculate the square root of the one percent
(enter the number from step 2 & press the square root function on your calculator : ) )

The number is surprisingly small. For example, in a city of 1 million people, the total is about 100!
In a world of 6 billion people, it's only about 8,000.
This number represents only the minimum needed to begin the process of change. The more people are involved, the faster the effect is created . . . .

Soooo, What's on our Citizen Wish List ?

This could be a SuperLIFE goal !
Reach 8,000+ members and co-create a Top 3 or Top 10 Citizen Wish List to focus on.

Who's game?

Let's take some of the SuperLife Mission statement and create our goals.

For Example . . . .

Top 10 SuperLife Citizen Wishes

1. Superhealth: Living to 100-plus in good shape.
2. Supersociety: Taming violence by 10% this year Globally
3. SuperSociety: Make food, Water and basic necessities available to 10% more of the global population
4. SuperSociety: Reach out to 1% of the global population and Mentor someone with a marketable skill
5. SuperBusiness: I've got an idea for Going GREEN - It's called the Bamboo Project
There are huge business & environmental opportunities in growing this very versatile, fast growing, highly renewable, environmentally remediating plant. Interested in hearing more? I'll start another discussion if you say go!
6. SuperSpirit: We'd have it if we utilized the above formula to work this plan.
7. ?
8. ?
9. ?
10. ?

Your thoughts . . . .

What ? No 7, 8, 9, or 10 ideas? Or commentary on the critical mass number for change or the bamboo project or even "how would we measure progress on any of these goals???

Talk talk talk is great. It's our favorite obsession. But action is by far better. . . .

Come on Steve . . ."WOW" is going to take us a REALLY long time to get there.

7. Superthought. Most people have constant roof brain chatter and probably don't know what roof brain chatter is.Educational training for dummies. HaHaHa
8. Superspirituality
9. Super technology training for those ludites remaining. If my mother had a computer, she and I would be alot closer. Also for those poor hard working parents who are intimidated by the intelligence of their 8 year olds. What a bad feeling for the parents.

If youall would excuse me I must go to Wikipedia to check out critical mass .

Sorry Steve,
I tried to provoke you into taking action to brainstorm real ideas for a Superlife but it backfired on me.

I don't understand your posting.

This thread is about ideas for a better future, not identifying broken pieces of the past or present.

p.s. for what it's worth . . . .it took nearly 10 yrs for my mom to "get connected". I drove me crazy, I lamented about all the lost opportunities, I didn't happen even when I set it up for her. But it did finally happen. Patience and persistence, my friend.

Hi. We got off on the wrong foot. It was my fault. First I believe our messages crossed. So our timing was off. And second, this was my first experience interacting live here. I am still a little misguided here.

Hi Richard. Good short article! Thanks. Perhaps you could help me find a "Coblogger".
We would do it here. Participation is necessary to get this site growing.

Allan Watts
Camus said there is only really one serious philosophical question, which is whether or not to commit suicide. I think there are four or five serious philosophical questions:
The first one is: Who started it?
The second is: Are we going to make it?
The third is: Where are we going to put it?
The fourth is: Who's going to clean up?
And the fifth: Is it serious?

Great set of questions, Steven! Numbers 3 & 4 make me think of the old song, "Don't put your trash in my back yard; my back yard's full."
