I bought my wife a "Chrysler Gem," an electric car using batteries. We love it and use it alot around the golf course that surrounds our neighborhood. The only problem is that it holds a charge for about 30 miles. I'm looking forward to an alternative vehicle that we'll be able to drive all day without losing its source of energy. I will be testing some out to see if they fit-the-bill.

I bought a car in 1997, a "Viper." Even though I paid an additional $8,000 in the form of a gas guzzler tax, when obeying the speed limit I actually get 25 mpg in it. This may seem hard to believe since it has a 10 cylinder engine but when taking long trips I like to drive it....only one problem...no cruise control! I guess they just expect you to race...not cruise. I actually am looking forward to a venicle that uses water only as fuel. That way...if I get a flat in the desert I'll carry a long straw and drink from the tank until I get rescued.
